Owen's Greeter Guide

Owen's Guide to Greeting:

Step 1:
-Introduce yourself.
Eg: "Hello my name is 0wen and I'm here to teach you the Basics of bob's TDM"

Step 2:
-Explain what the server is.
Eg: "Bob's TDM is a fast pace team death match server with custom weapon crafting."

Step 3:
Explain the 5 teams and there symbols
Eg: "Cops kill crooks, crooks kill cops. Both cops and crooks kill zombies. Zombies only kill cops, crooks, and zombie hunter. Citizen jobs don't fight at all" If you go to F4 and look at the job names you can see (+,~, and Z-) before the names. The '+' means its a cop job, '~' is crook and 'Z-' is zombie. These symbols will also appear above players heads. Other thing to note its citizens don't have a symbol!!"

Step 4:
Show them a transit point. Explain how to capture it and explain the gem functionality of it.

Step5:
EXPLAIN BP

Step 6:
Gems Gems Gems...
-Explain how to get gems.
-Explain gems (used in wep crafting)
-Explain the basics of each gem
Eg; Eme modify statistics... Etc

Step 7:
Commands!
-Teach them how to open there INV
-Have then open there STARTER KIT
-Have them pick up a weapon (INV)
-Have them drop the weapon
-Have then INV it

Step 8:
ASK IF THEY HAVE ANY QUESTIONS!!!!!!

STEP 9: Make sure they know how to contact staff via admin chat.

HELPFUL TIPS:
1. Be exited!!!!
2. If you squeak then type!
3. Avoid vulgarity.
4. Be a role model.
5. Do your job.
6. Ask to take a break every now and then in admin chat. (don't over do it)
7. Don't be lazy (refer to tip 6)
8. You don't have to teach them how to craft a weapon, just what the gems do. but tell them how to contact you/staff when there ready to learn. Once they get a few gems.
