my gmod isnt loading

my gmod crashes every time I start it up im trying to fix it so that's why im not on the sever

Do you have alots alots of addons?

Alright so here's what you gonna do.
1. First, Get to the settings of gmod...


2. Then go to Updates and uncheck "Enable Steam Cloud sync..."


3. Now go to Local Files and to a checkup of the game files.


Start GMod. If it works, go to number 5 to prevent future bug.
If not working...
4. Delete Gmod and reinstall it.


5. Once its done, do not active any fucking addons shit or w/e and do a backup of your game files....


6. Now you can re enable the steam cloud sync. And play gmod



If the game still wont start, then the problem isn't from the game it self or steam. There's something wrong with your pc.

tf2 and half life 2 are also having the same problem

ok I got a gaming computer for Christmas gmod will work on this im downloading it now so you shall all see me soon
