I joined Gmod after it had the update of gmod 13, why does it seem to fuck some people up? I was never told really why some people hated the update

Long story short, with Gmod already being a buggy-as-fuck sandbox port of Half-Life 2, each subsequent update Garry releases seems to break the game further, GM13 reaching shit-tier levels of broken
