What's wrong with the fourms?

Sometimes I go on the fourms and see no green circles indicating a new post (or multiple) but I can see the date on the latest post and I know that I haven't seen it yet. So what is going on?

if you go on the forums and there are new posts, if you like, wait or refresh or leave and come back or something, they sometimes won't be counted as new anymore, like it'll count as if you saw them

Also sometimes when I'm making a new post the web page keeps refreshing which stop my typing until the refresh is done and this happens like every 5 seconds when it happens

Yeah it's weird but I'm pretty sure it only happens on computers as I've never seen it on mobile devices

Had the same problem all the circles are blue not green

Sometimes when I post or reply, and I exit out of tab or browser, then later check, sometimes MY post is highlighted green so I think it's unread but then find out it was posted by me.
